This 12-song album is a testament to the artistry of melodic hardcore, to the fact that well-crafted music knows no borders. Oslo City, Norway remains home to the seamless guitar octaves, blazing drum work and soaring vocal melodies that Damage Control have committed to 30 minutes of tape–a collection of perfected songs that are not simply here to impress, but to inspire. Damage Control combine influences from a diverse list of classic bands, falling both in and out of their native genre, while still remaining true to form and substituting nothing in the way of precision or sheer intensity. Some have compared the ensemble to west-coast bands like Uniform Choice and Chain Of Strength, while others use Youth Of Today and even Dag Nasty to describe their sound. Instead of dismissing these comparisons, Damage Control prides themselves on being a contributor to such a diverse musical heritage.
